After successfully completing the newcomers’ speed-controlled lap, it was time for Markus to take on the Mountain Course on his own.

He completed two practice laps during the afternoon, with a fastest lap of 21:38.380 and an average speed of 104.613 mph – approximately 168 km/h around the legendary 37.73-mile course.

The result puts Markus inside the qualifying time allowed for newcomers in the Supersport and Senior classes. It is an important first step towards qualifying for the races, although more completed laps are still required before his place on the starting line is confirmed.

A strong and controlled beginning to Markus’s first Manx Grand Prix. Now the focus turns to gaining more experience, completing the required laps and continuing to improve throughout qualifying week.
