The racing weekend in Hořice is complete — and Karlsson Motorsport leaves the Czech Republic with two podium finishes.
Markus Karlsson opened the weekend with third place in the first Superbike race. After making further improvements to the bike, he returned even stronger in the final race.
Markus spent the opening laps fighting for second position before completing a determined overtake in a section where passing opportunities are rare. He then controlled the position to the finish, completing an excellent weekend with P3 and P2.
Two races, two podiums and plenty of valuable preparation ahead of the next challenge.
Next stop: the Isle of Man
With the Hořice weekend behind us, the Karlsson Motorsport truck is now heading to the Isle of Man for our biggest road racing project ever: the Manx Grand Prix.
In collaboration with Lingvalls Motor, we are bringing both our race-prepared Supersport 600 and a standard Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 that can provide spare parts if needed.
Lingvalls Motor and Krankungen, are the main sponsors of this project. Their commitment, support and belief in Markus have helped make this journey possible.
